Here when you need us most

There may come a time when you need to make a claim on your Boat Insurance Policy, as long as the claim is covered under your policy we try to make the process as stress free as possible, below are some questions and answers about the claims process. Most Importantly remember the boat is your property and your responsibility, so always act as a prudent uninsured and mitigate any potential loss. Failure to do this could seriously affect your claim.

In the event of a claim you will need to contact us either by phone or e-mail where we will send you a claim form.

As your file needs to be passed to Insurers as part of your claim assessment we try to keep all communications in writing – by email is quickest.

Every claim is different and it could take just a few days, a few weeks or even a few months, depending on the situation and circumstances, but you will have an appointed and dedicated claim liaison to assist you every step of the way.

This depends on the severity and complexity of the claim. To speed the process up and if a visit is not necessary then why waste the time and expense?

This is your contribution to the cost of any claim after it has been assessed and adjusted for the policy terms and conditions. The amount can be found on your policy schedule or certificate of insurance, but your claims liaison will point all this out for you.

If you can get their details and insurance, take some pictures and the contact details of any witnesses, then give us a call.
